We always offer value for money with totally transparent rates
The Electrical Group is the only electrical service company that has 100% transparent rates and we have a clear, upfront, open and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown here and our 24-hour friendly and helpful staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job.
Our pricing is ‘middle of the road’ but our service is second to none as our customers will testify.
Standard Half-Hourly Rates (excl. VAT)
30-minute minimum charge on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15-minute increments (most other companies charge in 30-minute increments). These rates exclude materials and are subject to VAT.
Estimates can be provided by the engineers or an estimator before work commences.
Fixed prices* apply to white goods disposal. Fixed prices can be given verbally or in writing by the engineer before work commences and are subject to VAT.
Materials supplied by your Electrical Group tradesperson will be charged at trade price plus 25% mark up and are subject to VAT.
Material collection time for non-stock items will be kept to a minimum – any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance.
Your invoice will clearly show a full description of works carried out including start time, finish time, and a full breakdown of labour and materials.
Insurance reports will be chargeable at a nominal £50 +VAT.
Payment must be made in full via the engineer upon receipt of the invoice, we accept credit/debit card, cash or BACS. We provide a safe, secure and convenient way for you to pay for work that has been carried out, in the comfort of your own home, on receipt of the invoice, once your job is completed.
Our secure payment system is accredited by all major UK banks and provides the highest level of payment security. This makes it possible to process transactions and obtain a banking authorisation within a matter of seconds. We do not surcharge for credit card payments.
Workmanship Warranty all work carried out by The Electrical Group comes with our standard “no quibble” 12-month workmanship warranty.
We believe in always being 100% transparent. We are clear, upfront and honest about our company charges. Our engineers will always show a full breakdown of labour, material and any other charges, and a comprehensive description of work carried out is shown on all invoices and estimates.
We do not charge for the following: call out charge, travelling, parking, congestion and there are no other hidden charges.
We always charge correctly and fairly according to our quoted rates and our policy on overcharging is unequivocal. But in the unlikely event that any of our engineers ever do deliberately disregard this policy then we will stop working with them, and a refund will be made.
We will always take responsibility in the unlikely event that work is not carried out to our standards. If you are unhappy please call our call centre, we will try to resolve your issue by sending an engineer back, or a technical service manager, at a time that is convenient to you.
The Electrical Group will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances.
